Sonoma County Dems ready to GOTV for Jerry Brown

Staff member Nicholas writes about his experience at the Sonoma County Democrats rally on Wednesday:

Nearly 1,000 Sonoma County Democrats joined together on Wednesday night at the local Veterans Hall to rally for Jerry Brown.

Jerry fired up the crowd with a powerful speech focusing on his core Democratic values and contrasting his experience and vision for the future with Meg Whitman’s lack of both.
He pointed out that in these challenging times, California needs a leader who knows how to get the job done, not some billionaire with no government experience who didn’t care enough to bother voting for most of her life.
The former Mayor, Governor, and Secretary of State also discussed the budget, pension reformeducation, fairness and equality, and the need to embrace and respect immigrants.
At the conclusion of the event, he met with supporters, signed autographs, and took pictures with local families, who were thrilled to come together with so many other Californians ready to join Jerry in getting our state working again.
