Brown Sweeps Gubernatorial Debates

Brown for Governor Campaign

SAN RAFAEL - Following tonight's final gubernatorial debate, Brown for Governor Campaign Manager Steven Glazer issued the following statement:

Following two clear debate wins in Davis and Fresno, Jerry Brown completed the sweep tonight in San Rafael.

Jerry Brown offered strong solutions on pensions, immigration, crime and jobs, while Meg Whitman struggled to defend the hallmark of her economic plan - a capital gains giveaway for her millionaire and billionaire friends. Meg Whitman's debate performance was just like her ads: hollow, scripted and loose with the facts.

Meg Whitman thinks that with her money - including the $20 million check she wrote herself tonight - she can buy her way into the Governor's Office. But California is not for sale.
